Capital Campaign
Theatre Regina, owner and operator of the Regina Performing Arts Centre (RPAC), is mighty proud. Since 2013, its Fund Development Committee has raised over $500,000 for much-needed capital improvements. Thanks to the generosity of corporate sponsors and funding agencies, the Centre has made great strides toward financial sustainability. But there's a catch. Aging buildings require ongoing maintenance and upgrades, and one-time funding opportunities responsible for hefty amounts raised in years past have been exhausted. Other options must be pursued to ensure that RPAC continues to serve Regina's cultural community in a meaningful way. And that's where you can help.
Our Reawaken Your Love for the Arts campaign has set a goal of $200,000 to be raised over a two-year period to revitalize the facility. Immediate priorities include:
- Kitchen Cabinet and Appliance Upgrades - $30,000
- LED Stage Lighting - $10,000
- Water Bottle Filling Station and Fountain - $7,000
Other vital upgrades that include but are not limited to flooring replacements will be undertaken as funds are raised and other projects are completed.
Every year, over 67,000 audience members, 14,000 performers, and significant numbers of school-aged dance and voice students make use of the Regina Performing Arts Centre. If you have walked through our doors to enjoy a show, set foot on our stage to showcase your talents, or are a champion of the performing and visual arts, consider making a contribution. Help us honour RPAC's past and secure its future.
